HOW DO I ORDER A CAKE?
Please fill out and submit the form on the Ordering page and we will contact you within 2 business days.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE AN ORDER?
Order your cakes as soon as you know you need one. Celebration cakes should be booked at least a month in advance and wedding cakes, 3 months in advance. Your order may be considered if you book closer to the time of your event, depending on availability, a late booking fee may apply.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL YOUR CAKES FEED?
Cakes are 5” or more in height. Please see below for a portion guide.
6”= 15 portions
8”= 25 portions
10”= 40 portions
12”= 60 portions.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes, you would need to make a non-refundable deposit, which is 50% of the cake cost. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and deposit. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.
DO YOU OFFER CONSULTATIONS?
Yes. Consultations can be held for wedding cakes. There is a non-refundable £50 fee required for appointments, payable by bank transfer.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY THE BALANCE FOR MY CAKE?
The balance needs to be fully paid prior to collection either by cash or bank transfer. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.
DO YOU OFFER ALLERGY-FREE CAKES?
Yes. Please request this when you place your order.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?
If you cancel your order, you will lose your non-refundable deposit. However, if you need to change the date of your order, let us know at least 7 days in advance and we will confirm availability. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR CAKES?
You can refer to the Prices and Flavours page for a guide, please bear in mind that some cake designs require additional labour and material costs and so the price of your cake will depend on the complexity of the design. Please contact us for an accurate quote. Do not hesitate to communicate your budget and we will be happy to work with you to create a special cake within your budget.

CAN I HAVE DIFFERENT FLAVOURS IN EACH CAKE TIER?
<p>Yes you can. Contact us with your request and we’ll work with you to create the cake you desire.</p>
<h2>Q: DO YOU DELIVER?</h2>
<p>Yes, wedding and large cakes can be delivered within London. Delivery fees are calculated by distance travelled and set-up time. If you require delivery for smaller cakes and cupcakes, please mention this when you place your order and we will confirm if this is possible based on distance.
We will not recommend that you self-transport 3D/sculptural cakes or any cakes over 2 tiers tall. Sophianna’s Bakery will not be responsible for any damage that may occur once a cake has been delivered or handed over to the client.</p>
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Sophianna’s bakery is a home-based business in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
No, unfortunately we’re unable to ship internationally.
CAN YOU MAKE PICTURE / CUPCAKES OR COOKIES?
Yes, you can have your pictures, corporate logos or messages printed and displayed on cakes, cupcakes and toppers.
I AM INTERESTED IN TAKING A CAKE DECORATING COURSE. ARE YOU OFFERING A CLASSES?
Yes, we offer private cake and cupcake decorating lessons for individuals and small groups in your own venue. We also offer cupcake decorating parties for ages 4 or over. Contact us to request a lesson or to book a party.
WHAT IS A CUPCAKE PARTY?
A cupcake party is a fun way to celebrate your child’s birthday party. We’ll provide un-iced cupcakes and decorations, aprons and chef’s hats. We’ll also provide a mat to protect your rugs and floors and will tidy up the decorating area so your child and her friends are free to have all the fun and you can sit back and relax. A cupcake party is also a great way to keep the little ones entertained at weddings.
